Halloween 2008

Kaylee had a great first Halloween! She was a little ladybug! We started the night with Pops, and then we went to my sister's for the night. Nana was also there to join the fun!

Destin

Here are some photos from our trip to Destin. The service for Grandma Bos was wonderful. Kaylee was able to meet a lot of her family memebers! She was a trooper during the trip there and back!

Catch up!

I have finally updated my blog! Sorry for the delay! You will find many new posts below. October has gone by so fast!!!!

Grandma Bos

Last Tuesday Dan's grandmother passed away while on a cruise. I was very blessed to know Grandma Bos. She was an amazing person and loved her family dearly. We last saw her last Thanksgiving when we announced that we were pregnant with Kaylee. I am so glad that she was here to share the good news with us all! While I was pregnant she was determined to crochet Kaylee a blanket. She retaught herself how to do it and finished it by the time Kaylee was born. I know Kaylee is going to love to carry that blanket around knowing that her great grandmother made it especially for her! Please keeps us and Dan's family in your prayers as we all travel to Destin for the funeral this week.

Pumpkin Patch 2008

This Saturday we visited the pumpkin patch down the road. Daddy bought Kaylee her very first pumpkin! We then went to Pop's football game. We had a great time and after the game we went out to dinner with Pops. Enjoy the pics!

Around the house...

First time at the zoo...

Kaylee had her first trip to the zoo. Daddy, Mommy, Aunt Jill, and Cousin Curtis were all with her! She had a geat time! Her favorite part were the fish!

Sleepover Fun!

We had Allison over for a sleepover on Wednesday night. She was so excited to be coming over with no brothers! We had a great time with her. She is so good with Kaylee!! We went to dinner at Subway and then came home and took baths. Allison played on the computer some and then we watched Jon and Kate plus 8. The next morning we woke up and ate some breakfast and then we were off to the grocery store. When we got back Allison made her way to the duck room and watched some Disney and played on the computer. She really loves the duck room and she even shuts the door so nobody can bother her. She is so funny! Now Aaron is planning out his night over!!

Hunting season is here!

Dan was able to do some dove hunting while we were in the valley. He was so excited to be able to hunt! He was like a little boy at Christmas time! Here are some pictures of my stud after one of his hunts....

Date Night for Mommy and Daddy!

Dan and I left Kaylee with my parents while we went out on our very first date since Kaylee was born. We went to Lone Star, where we had our rehearsal dinner. It was a great date! Of course we missed our little bug like crazy!!

First road trip to Nana and Papa's

Kaylee took her very first road trip last week! She did an amazing job! We all had a great time. Kaylee met her great grandma for the first time, and her great aunt and uncle. She was also introduced to two of my really good friends from high school. She was such a trooper through out the whole trip. We did everything from shopping at the outlet mall to taking a drive to South Padre Island. While there Kaylee found her hand! She took a long stare at it and then put it in her mouth! She is growing so much! Our next road trip will be in October to Nacgodoches! We can't wait!

Do you have power??

Yes that was the line you would hear everyone saying after hurricane IKE made his mark! Well we made it! At a young age of two months Kaylee went through her first hurricane. She slept through most of it and the rest of the time she played in the dark. We ended up staying at Dan's parents house so we would be with everyone. When we were finally allowed to get out on the streets we went to check out our house. No damage! We had a few trees leaning and the fence in the back was leaning. No biggie! We were very lucky! Our power came back on Saturday night but we were to tired to pack up everything so we ended up staying at Dan's parents one more night. Sunday we had my sister and the kids come over since they did not have power yet. My friend Katie also came over due to no power as well. My sister ended up getting power that night! WOOHOO! Katie is still without power, and is still hanging out with us. Dan has put her to work though. He made her cut the grass!!! Well we are very fortunate that we all made it through this nasty hurricane. I pray for all of those people that are still out of power, have house damage, and have no house at all. I hope that everyone gets the help that they need soon!

Life is good!

Yesterday we went to Portrait Innovations and had Kaylee's pictures taken for the first time. She was a champ, and that was even with three different outfit changes!! Of course we bought way to many pictures, but they were just all so cute!! We had a great time and afterwards we went to lunch. We then went up to my old work place to introduce Kaylee to everyone. Everybody was so excited to finally see our bundle of joy! It was so good to see everyone!! We are having a great time this week having Daddy home from work! Kaylee is growing so much! She has started doing some new things!!! She has figured out that if she moves her legs while in her bouncy the little animals on top begin to move. She also loves hearing her voice, she makes this loud squeaking noise. It is so funny! She loves dancing with mommy and daddy, and she also loves to hear us sing to her. Of course she still loves going outside, bath time, her paci, eating and sleeping. Her last feeding is at ten, and she does not wake up again until 4:30!!! Here is a family photo of the three of us. I have also posted just a few photos from our shoot. There were just to many to download!

Olympics 2008

It is that time again! The Olympics will be starting tonight. WOOHOO!! It also means that after the Olympics is over all of the fall shows start!!! I don't know which one I am more excited about. Thank goodness for DVR, since the little one will be keeping us busy I am sure we will be recording some of the events, and in the fall I know I will be watching all of my shows during those night feedings!

One of my favorite events to watch is the men's swimming, and I will be cheering on Michael Phelps!! I wonder how many medals he will get this year??????
