Yes that was the line you would hear everyone saying after hurricane IKE made his mark! Well we made it! At a young age of two months Kaylee went through her first hurricane. She slept through most of it and the rest of the time she played in the dark. We ended up staying at Dan's parents house so we would be with everyone. When we were finally allowed to get out on the streets we went to check out our house. No damage! We had a few trees leaning and the fence in the back was leaning. No biggie! We were very lucky! Our power came back on Saturday night but we were to tired to pack up everything so we ended up staying at Dan's parents one more night. Sunday we had my sister and the kids come over since they did not have power yet. My friend Katie also came over due to no power as well. My sister ended up getting power that night! WOOHOO! Katie is still without power, and is still hanging out with us. Dan has put her to work though. He made her cut the grass!!! Well we are very fortunate that we all made it through this nasty hurricane. I pray for all of those people that are still out of power, have house damage, and have no house at all. I hope that everyone gets the help that they need soon!

We finally got power Wed. night PRAISE GOD!! Glad you are all OK!
The only people I DO know who have power are the ones you named and my brother-in-law and sister-in-law in Pearland. But we think they only got it because they are on the same grid square as city hall! Glad everyone is okay. Love y'all~
and you KNOW how I hate missing stuff...even this!
