Mrs. Shorts

HOWDY! Summer is over and it is now time for me to teach a new group of kids! First thing to teach..... my NAME! The kids are so funny when they try to say Schwartz. Thursday was meet the teacher, and I met nine of the sweetest kids! The parents were awesome! One mom wrote my name down so she could have her daughter practice how to say it. WOW! I have a feeling that I am going to have another great year! This past week I have been working very hard on my classroom. I have to say I am pretty impressed, and it looks ten times better then it did last year. Last year I was LOST, but this year I think I have everything covered. I am super excited about just having one class and teaching all the subjects. I really missed the science part last year, and I am even excited about teaching math this year. I know MATH! I must be going crazy! Well Monday is the first day back with kids! I am so glad that I am at a wonderful school with amazing co-workers. It is just a good feeling knowing you like to go to work everyday and it is not a drag! Well I hope you enjoy the pictures of my classroom. I know I know there is a lot red, white, and blue! Oh yes I did make those curtains and pillows!!
