Trevor is here! Our nephew/godson made his appearance on Christmas Eve! I think he knew everyone was here for the holidays, so he wanted to make his grand entrance so that everyone would see him. He is such a precious baby!!! Kimberly, Ryan, Aaron, Allison, and Trevor are doing GREAT. We will be celebrating Christmas today with the whole family! We have been so blessed this year!

Baby Schwartz

We had our appointment today! Everything looked great!!!! Baby's heart beat was 144. It was pretty amazing!!! According to the ultrasound our due date is July 22nd! We are so excited!!!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was at our house this year. We had a great time! What made it even better is that we got to share our secret with everyone! That's right Dan and I are going to be parents. Our parents were totally shocked!!! They had no idea this was coming, but we did!!!! We are really looking forward to our first appointment next Thursday!!!!

Renaissance Festival

Dan and I went to the Renaissance Festival for the first time. I have to say it was pretty interesting. Some people are really hardcore about it!!! Even though it was really different we had a great time.

Dan was honored to stand beside one of his high school friends (Matt) as he took the big leap and got married. It was the most prettiest wedding ever! The wedding ceremony took place at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Richmond, and then the party started at Safari Texas Ranch. We had a blast!

Family Day

The weather has been so wonderful!! Today Dan and I took the dogs to the park. They had a great time playing with all of the other dogs.

Last night was my faculty Halloween party. We had a blast! Last night we were Napoleon and Deb. Everyone loved our costumes. Dan even did the famous Napoleon dance. Hope everyone has a great Halloween on Wednesday!!

State Fair

I had a great time with my friends at the state fair. When we got there I was surprised to see that Lonestar was performing that night. WOOHOOO!!!! I was so exctied! The concert was great! Dan also had a great time with his buddy Villis. They were able to play a round of golf. We had a great time! Enjoy the pictures!

You would think it was Christmas.....

Last week Dan got home and there was a package awaiting for him on our doorstep. Dan knew exactly what it was and started jumping around! Above is the picture of his NEW waders. He is officially ready for hunting season!

Pumpkin Time!

Tonight Dan and I made Jack O Lanterns! We had a lot of fun working on them! I am sure you can tell which pumpkin belongs to Dan. Tomorrow night were going to go find our Halloweeen costumes! No we are not going trick or treating, we actually have a party to go to next weekend. Can't wait!!

What's new?

Well Dan and I have been really busy, and for the next couple of months it is going to get even busier. We have a lot of fun things coming up. This Thursday we are taking a mini trip. Dan will be dropping me off in Nacogodoches and then he will be traveling to his buddy Villis' house in Louisiana. I will be leaving Nacogdoches and then going to Dallas to the state fair with some friends of mine. I am excitied to be getting away and having some fun girl time. I am sure Villis and Dan will have much fun fishing or hunting. Dan has really missed him, and I have missed my girls! I can't wait to post upcoming events in our lives! We have a Halloween party, Reniassance Festival, a baby shower for my sister (can't wait to meet out newest nephew Trevor!!!), and weddings! Life is great in the Schwartz household! We have truly been blessed! Hope all is well with you and your loved ones!

Texas Country

I have to say Texas country music has to be one of the best things to listen to. Dan and I made it to the Cory Morrow concert on Saturday night at the Fort Bend County Fair. We had a great time!!!

Weekend Fun!

Dan was out of town this weekend, so the niece and nephew came over for a sleep over to keep me company. They were so excited to come over!! We went out to eat last night and then came home and watched a movie. This morning we got up and I made the kiddos some pancakes and sausage. They ate all of it! Before we went to church they colored, played with the dogs(they really need one), and we even had time to go to the park. We had a great time and they even made it through church!!! WOOHOO!!! We met the well rested parents at a BBQ place and had lunch. Uncle Dan even made it back into town for lunch! Aaron looked around the table and said.....WOW its a family day! He is so cute! Well tomorrow starts another week! Hope everyone had a great weekend!

You sat where?

Dan and I were very lucky to sit right behind home plate at the Astros game on Wednesday!!!! I was so excited to hear that Dan's friend was not going to be able to make it to the game, and he offered us the 300 dollar tickets!(for free!) We had a blast! We even had a parking permit that allowed us to park right by the doors. We had dinner at the game with all of the high dollar people. It was very nice and great food. Everything was FREE!!!!! Best Astros game I have ever been to! Well I take that back even though Dan and I were in the nosebleed section we got to see Biggio hit his 3000. Speaking of Biggio, since we were on the second roll I had a nice view of him! Even though Dan and I were super tired we stayed for the whole game. Astros WON! Thanks Beau for the amazing tickets!

Dan's World

Well hunting season has started! Dan is so excited! He has been hunting for the past two days, and he will be going again tomorrow. Tomorrow he is taking Molly on her first hunt! Let's see how she does. Spec will be staying home.She is now retired.=(
Dan is happy with the lease he got on this year. Thank goodness! Seems like it is going to be a good one! He is off to Louisiana this weekend for a bachelor party. Hope he doesn't spend all my money! I am sure he is going to have a blast! He needs the vacation! Oh and I can't forget....He is so thrilled that the hummingbirds are back. He has the feeders all ready, and he saw one this evening. He looked like a little boy on Christmas! He is so cute! I love this man! Well this is the update on Dan the Man!

Choir Practice!

I am so lucky to work with such a wonderful group of people. Below you will see me with two other fourth grade teachers at our very first "choir practice". These girls are amazing and are doing wonderful as first year teachers. They survived there first week of teaching with no problems! WOOHOO! They have become two of my closet friends, and I can only image how much fun we are going to have this year!

Dogs everywhere!

For the past week we having been watching Gracie, Jill and Jacob's dog. Molly and her have been having a blast! Spec has enjoyed her time off! Molly and Gracie have not stopped playing all week long. Poor Molly wears out the fastest. She is use to playing with Spec! By the second day Spec was really tired of the two bumping into her, so she has made a spot for herself in mine and Dan's room. She comes out when she notices the two are napping. Here are some photos of the three beast! Enjoy!

Well the first week of school is over! WooHOO! Only 35 more to go! I have to say this class is going to be handful! 14 boys and 9 girls! Why did they do this to me?! At the moment I am still training them. I will give this another week and then they shoudl be good to go. Even though they are going to keep me busy I have to say this is a bright group! Lucky me! This will be my second year of teaching and I feel so much better then last. I know what to do!!!! I don' look like a lost puppy anymore! This past week has been busy but fun. I do have to say I was ready for Friday,so I could take my tired self to happy hour!! I am sure I will have lots of funnies to tell you about my class. Get ready! Story number one......I have this boy in my class and this is his second year in the country...I say....Why are you writing on your desk?...His
response...Ummmmmm I forgot. I paused for a second and just shook my head! Hope all you teachers out there had a wonderful week!

Mrs. Shorts

HOWDY! Summer is over and it is now time for me to teach a new group of kids! First thing to teach..... my NAME! The kids are so funny when they try to say Schwartz. Thursday was meet the teacher, and I met nine of the sweetest kids! The parents were awesome! One mom wrote my name down so she could have her daughter practice how to say it. WOW! I have a feeling that I am going to have another great year! This past week I have been working very hard on my classroom. I have to say I am pretty impressed, and it looks ten times better then it did last year. Last year I was LOST, but this year I think I have everything covered. I am super excited about just having one class and teaching all the subjects. I really missed the science part last year, and I am even excited about teaching math this year. I know MATH! I must be going crazy! Well Monday is the first day back with kids! I am so glad that I am at a wonderful school with amazing co-workers. It is just a good feeling knowing you like to go to work everyday and it is not a drag! Well I hope you enjoy the pictures of my classroom. I know I know there is a lot red, white, and blue!
