Betty Crocker

Yes thats right you can call me Betty Crocker. Friday my school had a carnival and I made two cakes to donate to the cake walk. Yes thats right I baked!!!I even got to use my new mixer that has been sitting in the cabinet for almost a year now! I was even brave enough to decorate them. I know they weren't the best decorated cakes but my students thought they were!!!!

Wednesday night Dan, Spec, Molly, and I went over to Jill and Jacob's house for dinner. We had some yummy Mexican food, and played with our little nephew Curtis. I can't believe he is four months already! Dan made a really loud funny noise to Curtis, and he didn't like it so much. He quickly got over it, and Dan was able to when over some laughs when he did the "superman". We had a great time! The dogs loved playing with Gracie(Spec's daughter too) in the backyard. Lets just say all three of them needed to be hosed down at the end of the night!

Sister Weekend!!!!!

Sister weekends are so much fun!!! Ryan was out of town and Dan was working nights, so my sister and I got to spend some quality time with each other. Yes the niece and nephew were there too!!!!! I have to admit they are some pretty funny kids! We had lots of fun! Friday we went out to eat and then ate ice cream. Saturday I was nice enough to babysit for a few hours so my sister could go to a church function, but before that we watched Aaron's t-ball game. I also brought Molly along, and I have never seen Aaron and Allison on top of the couch so much! The weekend was a blast and I am so lucky my sister lives so close. I can't wait for her to return those babysiting favors!!! =)

Here I am again!

Time for a new post...Spring Break went by way to fast. I spent some quality time with the family in San Benito and Dan stayed home and worked. While in the valley I shopped, went to the zoo (my sister drug me), ate (yum El Pato), had a bday party for my dad, and stayed up WAY to late. It was a lot of fun! When I got back to good ole Houston, Dan and I did some major planting in our yard (see pictures below). We also went to the Houston Rodeo and saw Brooks and Dunn. It was a really good concert! The break was great and now I am back to the old schedule. Summer can't come fast enough!!!

It's about time!!!!

I think it is time for me to update this blog!!!!! Well there is not much going on. Spring break is fastly approaching. 3 MORE DAYS!!!!!! A break that is much needed for a first year teacher. Wait a minute.....A break that is needed for ALL teachers. Don't get me wrong I love my little fourth graders, but it is time to just get away from them!!!!! On another note Dan and I are doing great. The puppies are growing very fast, so that means they need a home...... FAST! Spec is starting to get annoyed by them and is ready to get back to her old life. LIVING INSIDE!!! Molly has become quite the little character. She has a great personality!!!!! Which Dan likes because she will be a good hunter. Don't even ask about potty training!!!!! It's going very very slow, but I am sure it will get better once the other puppies are gone. Then are full attention will just be on her. I feel like the dog woman! The lady that doesn't have anything interesting to say but talk about her dogs. How sad is that? Sorry Kimberly and Kristi I will try to get a more exciting life!!!!Well I suppose that is it....More pictures to come......
