Schools out for SUMMER!!!!!!

WOOOHOOOO!!!!! Summer is here for me!!!!!! I am so happy that I survived my first year of teaching. I had AWESOME kids and a wonderful staff to work with. I am really lucky to be at such a great school! It was a great year and it went by super fast! So now it is summer time! What should I do with all my time off???? Well I already have lots in mind. Of course I still have to go to some teacher trainings but not to many. I plan on spending some much needed time at the pool, and I am sure Dan and I will be heading to the valley some. I also have some major cleaning and painting to do in the house. It is going to be a great and relaxing summer!!

Go Astros

Dan and I went to the Astros game on Friday. There was even a firework show after the game. BONUS!!!!Even though they did not win we had a great time! I had a really really good adult beverage! I needed it after the long week I had. Only 8 more days of work!!! WOOHOOO!!!!!!!

Golf

This afternoon Dan and I went out to hit some golf balls. It was a very pretty day! I hit about 10 balls and that was enough for me. I ended up reading a magazine. Dan really worked hard on his swing. He is getting pretty good at it! The best part is when he would tell me to watch how far he could hit the ball, and then he would only hit it about 50 feet. HA!HA! I have got to admit it was a fun afternoon!!

Bowling

Friday night Dan, Kimberly, Aaron, Allison, and I went bowling. It was the first time for the kids. We had a blast!!! The winner of the night went to.....ALLISON! That's right a two year old beat us!

Betty Crocker

Yes thats right you can call me Betty Crocker. Friday my school had a carnival and I made two cakes to donate to the cake walk. Yes thats right I baked!!!I even got to use my new mixer that has been sitting in the cabinet for almost a year now! I was even brave enough to decorate them. I know they weren't the best decorated cakes but my students thought they were!!!!
