Family Trip

We had a great stay in San Antonio. It was nice to get away and have a little family vacation. The girls did wonderful and had so much fun. Sea world was a blast! The wildlife ranch (something I have ALWAYS wanted to do!) and the cave were awesome! We even drove to Austin to attempt to watch the bats under the bridge. No such luck! They decided it would be a good night to stay put. I have to say this was the BEST time to visit all of these places. It's not to hot and kids are still in school. The best part….we didn’t wait in one line! Now I will leave you with an overload of pictures....

Easter 2012

We had a wonderful Easter with our families. Heard an amazing sermon at church. Ate some great food with the Schwartz clan and had a fun egg hunt. Naps were taken and then we headed to my sister's. My mom cooked her famous tacos and we finished the evening with a egg hunt.

Oh how she amazes me...

For the past couple of days we have been doing resurrection eggs. The girls open an egg and find a little something about the Easter story. We read the verse that goes with it and a little story. It tends to never fail when we talk about Jesus Kaylee always says that Jesus is in our heart and how much she misses Papa and Spec. It makes me sad and happy! Sad because the look on her face when she says she misses them is heartbreaking. Happy because at the young age of ALMOST four she knows about Jesus and she still remembers Papa and Spec. Yesterday as we were finishing up with the story she looks at me with the most serious look on her face and says, "We can just drive to see Papa and Spec! But where will we park our car?" Made me laugh a little inside but broke my heart too. If it was only that easy! I told her that we couldn't just drive up to heaven but whenever she was feeling sad and missed them she could always talk to God and he would listen. The look on her face was priceless when I said he might even tell Papa how much you love and miss him! After are conversation she said the sweetest little prayer. That girl melts my heart!!!

We have been keeping busy this month!!!
~Said goodbye to the ugly green bathroom. Now it is a pretty clean blue! So much nicer! ~We had a lot of fun at the rodeo. We were able to go twice this year! YEEHAW!
~My moms group went strawberry picking with the kids. First time for me and the girls! We will definitely be doing this again!
~My sister and I also took the kids to the bluebell factory. It was a great time! Best part...Free ice cream!!!

Happy Valentine's Day

Father/Daughter Dance 2012

Daddy and Kaylee had a blast at the father/daughter dance! Such a great tradition. They went to dinner at Chillis before the big dance. They danced the night away and went on a fun carriage ride. They ended the night with some yummy ice cream. Looking forward to next years dance, Dan will have two dates!!!
